3w farms - 6/20/2015 13:07 40 years ago When my wife and I started to farm we started from scratch , no family farm ground, no machinery no anything, I didn't even have a farm background having grown up in the suburbs of Chicago. All was done with barrowed money. I remember my wife's uncle telling me that if you make it no one will ever give you any credit for being smart, they will only say you were lucky, but if you fail they will be more than glad to say how stupid you were. Guess people and farmers haven't changed any in the last 40 years.
