Monroe City, MO | Same boat here in NE Missouri (haha boat, get it). I have sixty percent left to plant. I will go till July something. Maybe the fifth or sixth. I planted beans in 1998, first crop not double crop on July 15. They actually got taller than the late June beans that year and made 44 bu. Taking PP, which I have done before, seems too much like giving up. I'm farther north than you. Last year I had double crop planted after the first week of July make close to forty. Good luck. | |
