WC Iowa | Have a 40 acre field of nice looking oats with alfalfa underseeding. In past have usually mowed them about now for oat hay but it seems it is hard to sell and get decent money for. Thinking about combining them and baling the straw but have no idea where to sell that many oats. I would think possibly a cattle feeder could use them in a starter ration or something? Or anyone know of a oat buyer moderately close to WC Iowa? | |
