IMO crusting is caused by tillage and working the ground on the wet side when you are pressed for time. Notill or a VT outfit is the only way to prevent it.


Ground was too wet but tried to get the plot in before rain.

This ground has to be sprayed conventionally as rr1, rr2, LL and nongmo beans are in it. So treflan pre has to be worked in right before planting.

So got caught with 3.39" of rain with hail that came hard and quick.

My mg levels are 2% higher then I'd like and working on getting them lower by adding ams each year.
