If you're wanting to control erosion why would you chisel? Chiseling will cause more compaction than it will fix. The rye will break through any compaction you have. Fly it on and watch it grow.


I mentioned flat areas in my original post. I wouldn't be chiseling any slopes.......I wish it would be possible to chop corn silage without ever creating any compaction, but it doesn't work that way.
