Subject: top dress timing

I spread 4 ton of chicken manure per acre this spring with 30 lbs nitrogen per ton available 1st yr. Irrigated corn with 200 bushel per acre goal and corn is looking very good so far. I am planning to top dress uRea anothwe 80 lbs nitrogen per acre worth. At what stage is best to topdress? My thoughts are to wait as long as possible before corn is too tall to get spreader into. Also would it be wise to use an inhibitor like agrotain to make nitrogen available a little later into the year and prevent loss from volatization. Thanks much
