Thanks for posting the article. Excessive rainfall has caused much crop damage and nutrient loss and I fully understand the need to add additional N but PLEASE do not fly urea over ponded areas. Large quantities nitrogen fertilizer leaving the fields will enter lakes and rivers and cause the nitrate and ammonia levels to spike at municipal water treatment facilities. (Think Des Moines lawsuit).

Please do your best to be a good steward of resources and keep as many nutrients out of the water supply as possible.
