You hit on what I am thinking quite well. Planted most of mine last year June 7-10. Got piles of rain, whole farm averaged 18 bu/ac. Best I imagine this ground doing is 25-30. If the PP would go through I could see a per acre profit, enough to limit the bleeding. The situation I would hate to have if I plant is investing the time, money, and hours on my old iron (risk of breakdowns), pull another 18bu crop, and be out more than I would if I'd PP it. | |
