SW Minnesota
For me, I'll take a drought. You just loose part or most of a crop. With too wet, you have damage to machinery from running in the water & mud, ruts in your fields that take years to make right again, nutrient loss, soil erosion, and the list goes on and on. Too wet in the summer usually brings severe storms with it also and you get to spend more of your time cleaning up downed trees and wind-damaged buildings. Not to mention all the time spent (wasted) pumping water out of basements, fixing the water damage, etc. - all things that cost money with NO return on the money spent.

I lived thru the summer of 1993. I have said many times that if that same scenario comes back again in my lifetime, the equipment will be lined up and an auctioneer called. I DO NOT want to go thru that again!
