Subject: RE: Should I Plant beans before all this rain?

Southern MD
I planted 160 acres of low riverfront land 5/30-5-31. Land was turbo tilled few days b4 and perfect. Planted beans 3/4" deep. Got 3" rain 6/1-6/2 (wasn't calling for anything close to that 60% chance) and no sun for 5 days. Finally stopped raining and now I get to replant about half of them. All beans were treated. Temps were in the 90s rain hit them perfect and rotted in the ground. The beans I planted few days earlier were fine. If you know for sure your getting a lot of rain and can't get them in 3-4 days prior I'd wait.
