Ohio | Run a 7000 Deere with the precision finger pick ups. Neighbor bought a brand new Kinze with the Kinze meters and our spacing and singulation blew him out of the water. I think some of the blame should be on the operator also as it might not have been calibrated with the speed he was planning to plant at or for the seed size.
We try and run 5 to 6 hybrids on 180 acres. The precision meters do the best on bags that are around 45lbs, but I've planted the 35 and 50lb bags before and I felt like the results weren't bad at all. | |
