Planted a small field early to set a new to me planter in 2012 that was froze or frosted 3 times. Looked ok with perfect weather till the drought hit in mid June. Seemed to lack vigor that the other fields had and yielded 70 bpa less than the next worst field. Can't prove it was the frost causing the low yield, but seems likely.
