Thx Tom, I think the drought (hard to believe we can say that word now) also effected things. If you look close in those pics you can see plants that have still not unraveled from the dead material. Some rain that would of softened that material and give the plant some extra push a couple days after the frost might have helped a lot. I wish we had mowed some of that corn right away as I think the unraveling process has been a big problem. I know the research says mowing is not a help but I struggle with that when we have plants still twisted together 3 weeks after the fact. I suspect next time around there will be more cultivators and Assure employed that morning..... Right or wrong.
