Wi | We have a 722 with a loader, nice handy tractor. 500hrs on it now. 1700+ on our 930 we got a year and a half ago. Both have been very reliable and very nice to run, but that depends on how much of an open mind you have. They can do a lot if you want them to.
I would buy one 10 times before a massey or yellow massey. With all of the headaches MF products have caused us I could care less to ever see one again. You wont regret spending more when the neighbor with the MF is broke down and you're still going, or when you go to trade it in and his MF is worth nothing.
Must have options really depend on what you are doing. Our 930 is loaded (900s come standard with a lot as it is), our 722 is pretty bare. They offer three cab suspensions on them. Our 722 has the cheapest suspension which is just some coilovers in the rear and it rides fine, its nowhere near as nice as the 900 but the 900's size and IFS have a lot to do with that as well. They also offer three seats. Our 930 has the active evolution and it will piss you off when it's not happy, which is often. Had them in our MF's too and they were annoying. The non-active versions were a bit better. The cushions are very comfortable on the evolutions compared to the cheapest seat, but the cheapest seat is the simplest and most reliable. Our 722 has it and its not bad, just that the cushions are not as nice. It's nice not having to fight with it or talk nice to it in order for it to put air in though.
One of the bigger options you'd have to decide on is the display, if you want the 10.4 or the smaller one. Build and quote site is not working today and I can't remember what all comes standard with what. Profi Plus comes with the bigger 10.4 IIRC. Profi comes with the 7". Our 722 has the 7", its fine for most things but if you want to run guidance and a lot of other things the bigger one is nicer. You can run some guidance off the small screen. Ordering it guidance ready is something you'd want to decide as well, adding the guidance later is more expensive than ordering it new but its as simple as snapping in the module and having a few things changed in the software. Making it guidance ready later is usually cost prohibitive.
I would say the trailer mirrors are a must especially with a loader, very nice being able to see where your wheels are at. There's a bunch of other options that are like any other tractor, beacons, HID's (or LED's now I guess), front 3pt (few different options), front PTO (easy to add later). Not sure if the 700s have rear PTO options or not, IIRC the standard one is 540e/1000. Variotronic TI is handy to have if you will be doing a lot of fieldwork and using the headland system. Have the dealer go through the options with you and, maybe ask some others that are more familiar with them to be sure you are getting what you want. There aren't a ton of options on Fendt's when compared to other brands, a lot of stuff is standard. some things are easy to add later on, other things cannot be added.
The 3yr/3k service/warranty is standard, all you do is put fuel and DEF in. They come and do the rest.
