SW North Dakota | Im considering applying N also. I too haul to sw grain and I cant ignore that premium. My agronomist told me to stream on 10gal of water and 10 gal of 28% right after flowering. I dont think the leaf burn at that stage will affect yield at all. I had a neighbor topdress with stream bars last year and his crop was a little brown for a couple days and then came right back and looked very good. If you use the right nozzles and apply it correctly leaf burn should be kept to a minimum. | |
