I'm about thirty miles west of boone and it looks as good here as I can ever remember. Even the traditionally wet/dead spots have a perfect stand. I can't say we have too much moisture but just enough for right now. The Sandy knobs were showing stress last week before the rain. As of right now I'm at 3.1 inches since corn planting the end of April.
is it perfect anywhere?
