How long has he farmed your land? Young man starting out or old est farmer with a lot of ground that outbids everyone around? Been paying Avg rent or higher then Avg for your county? Did you buy this for as a investment or a retired farmer yourself? Last what would you do if the table was turned? Just something to think about in today world of dog eat dog.we all have to live with our actions. Good luck

He has farmed it a while poor farmer farms straight up and down the hills bullies his way around low rent always wants money back.I would honor my commitment
