Years ago I owned half of a corral cleaning company. Against better advice my partner put a clevis on the end of a tow rope. Pin snapped. Clevis took out the grill, oil cooler, airconditioner condensor, radiator, fan and broke the water pump. Expensive but no ropes or clevises were used after that. Go with straps. Good choice.
