I didn't ask anybody to feel sorry for me, its outa our control. 175 might be good actually. Let's just say 175. @3.50 just covers rent, seed, feet, maybe half chemical. What it doesn't cover is all machinery, irrigation cost whether we use it or not, crop ins, interest, half chemical. It's easy 200 acre loss. It is what it is, ins will make up some but ins wont make up the loss on alfalfa of losing a cutting, plus a poor cutting plus lose of cutting of custom work, there's 100k that ins wont cover. But again it is what it is, outa my control. Life will go on in one form or another.
Hope you have a better yr then lots of people in a large area will this yr. Old timers say never seen water in places their is water this yr so one of those crazy yrs nobody's ever seen before. | |
