It is possible you drifted enough to cause symptoms. I would expect the symptoms to show a definite reduction as you move a relatively short distance into the field. Unless you sprayed in an inversion, but conditions you state would not have had an inversion.

Volatilization? That would not depend on the temps during application as much as after. What were daily temps?
