I have one field that will erode a lot without a lot of attention. It has been in a corn bean rotation for a long number of years. The last two yeare I have had a ceral rye cover crop . Have been considering going back to corn after I sow my ceral rye this fall. Its my opinion that there is less erosion if I stay away from beans. Would appreciate some comments on this subject. Have considered going to wheat on the in between yiers just cannot make any money on wheat. Thanks Spike

My father says the same thing about beans, i believe he is right, but then we plant more beans anyway. Big thing is there is not much hay grown anymore and no manure, bigger problem than having beans in the rotation.
