NW Central Ohio | ...the next time you have a problem like that...don't block the driveway. That's on the road right of way. You park your vehicles right in front and right in back of their vans so they can't move them. The sheriff can't make you move them...because if they aren't charging anyone with something....there isn't a crime scene and you don't even have to allow them on your property. Call your attorney...because there's going to be a lot of pissin' and moanin' going on...and they probably will end up handcuffing you anyway. These deputies don't all know the law...and they're just going to rely on bluff. He cannot force you to move a vehicle on your own property without a crime being committed...and if they refuse to charge anyone, well then you can't be arrested either. | |
