southwest IA | Besides operating the planter you could use it as the yield monitor in a red combine if it already was set up for the Pro 600 or Universal Display or UDP. You could also do swath mapping with other implements but you would have to touch the screen every time you lift the implement and turn around if you wanted acres to be accurate.
Do a search for 1200, 1240, 1245 planter you will find a lot of info, good and bad. Also check out http://www.caseihafs.com/ for help with the monitor. Had our 1200 since 2005, very satisfied. It's not perfect, but what is? | |
