I would just pick up a big can and get to burning. You most likely will be welding something else over time and could still use the rod. May have to bake it next time you use it just to get the moisture out for the next project.



I would too, but I weld enough to keep good rod around, and it lasts a hell of lot longer out here than it does east of the Rockies. We don't even know what humidity is.
