NW IL, Mercer County | I have a field of spring nh3 applied with a john deere 2510h bar with some damage. It was put on 2.5 weeks before planting, but we only had maybe .75 of rain in that stretch. The endrows looked the worst of course, planting directly into the tracks a lot of the time. The long rows were stunted where the planter crossed the angled nh3 tracks. It looked like hell 2 weeks ago but looks better now. Hard to know yield loss but it cost for sure. | |
