to be perfectly honest small timer, i think you would you'd be better off with a bin dryer.   sounds like you are going to have to put a bin up already.   in iowa here there are a fair amount of used bins being sold with floors and drying units in that 4000-8000 bu. range and they aren't asking much for them.   we just sold a 3500 bu. bin with aeration floor, auger,fan, dryer for a $1000. I know of a 7000bu bin  with two fans and a shivers unit for sale for not much more than, you take it down you can have it.

i'm not a particular fan of bin dryers, but if you got a off farm job, and somebody to do the harvest for you, that's the way i'd go.
