| As far as I know the only differences between 32 and 28 are that 32 salts out below freezing and 28 below zero. Big difference when storing over winter. 28 weighs 10.4 pounds per gallon and 32 is supposed to weigh 11.4 though one place I bought some said they considered 32 to weigh 10.4 pounds per gallon which really meant they said it was 32 but really was 28 so I was shorted on N. I don't do business with them anymore.
I've seen 28 that seemed to be brown while 32 was clear.
