I am watching a certain equipment dealer in this area do lots of business with out of state customers , take on huge equipment trades with BTO's , and yet the local guy gets looked at like chopped liver! We tried to demo a piece of USED tillage equipment (soil finisher) to see if it did a good job of leveling. We were told to buy it first, then if we didn't like it to it back for a refund, minus a rental fee. We are always cash-in-hand customers with no trades! Should be a equipment dealers dream. But unless it is a $1M transaction , they want nothing to do with you. | |
