If you watch the original Interview when they won the super farmer top producer award she made some comment to the effect that she was astonished at their rate of growth and she never really questioned her husband. From her interview she just seems like a simple minded woman going along with her husband . not really smart enough to be a crook. Stamp on the other hand seemed pretty cocky and sleazy. Its interesting to watch that top producer video again after the fact.

Some people in the Ag Business called him Slick Mike .. Nothing New hear his Father was the same way and filed Bankruptcy also .. Things were really tough raising hogs some years in the USA and in the Cass County MI area ect.. I know some Hog Farmers that sold Timber to make ends meet ect in the bad years..

http://www.mlive.com/news/kalamazoo/index.ssf/2015/03/the_stamp_far... Here is an MI live timelime 9 pages with various videos and such ..

Yes in the Video Interview Mike Stamp says " I outgrew Several Bankers, I wonder what they are thinking now." At the time he made that Interview, Stamp already knew that Wells Fargo was taking his whole Fall Crop as payment on the close to 70 Million .. Of course there are Rumors of Stamp hiding money and Pulling Tractors ect ..

The Crazy thing is how he was telling that he could make more money by having his own Grain Elevator and Rail shipping Facilities ,, Yet you would see 10 or more Stamp Trucks in line to unload corn at the Anderson's in White Pigeon MI which is a Considerable distance from his Decatur North Star Grain operation.

I have also heard Rumors of Stamp selling corn to local Hog Farmers too that last Fall during the drought. Every Kernel was supposed to go to Wells Fargo not to Anderson's or to other local Farmers..
There is most likely a lot more Fraud out there than has been proven.. Still the worst impacts are on smaller Farmers he took 200 or 500 acres from .. Plus another 20 Million or more of unpaid unsecured debts.. His Fuel Supplier , Monsanto ,, and a Local Irrigation sales operation for starters.

Yes Melissa seems relatively innocent ,, yet she is the one who signed documents and took actions that broke Federal Laws and were not too hard to prove .

But yet those irrigation guys, fuel suppliers and seed salesmen, fertilizer and chemical dealers all fall head over heals for these guys and leave the little guy in the dust.
