As far as the jail. I get where you are coming from. BUT.... I have a old buddy that I used to partner up feeding with quite a bit. Anyway he did time for a killing a guy on a DUI. He was .07(zero tolerance) and the victim was riding his bike around a curve @11pm on a major hwy and my buddy didn't see him. My buddy had a REALLY REALLY good job. And 60 of us wrote the judge asking to take it light on him. All 60 of us went to the trial. The judge politely made it very clear he didn't care about my buddy or the victim. But the 60 of us were there, were told to get the word around that this was not to be tolerated and he got time in prison
That is a much different situation as it was an accident .. Stamps Fraud and Con operation was no accident .. it had a snowball effect they lies and cons got bigger and bigger as he out grew more more Bankers.. and interest rates were at a record low.
What Stamp was really doing is stealing lots of land from Honest Farmers and paying the rent with money borrowed from a Bank not from Farming Profits .. |
