I'm not saying a college degree isn't necessary - just the financial and the "Business" of college. College isn't for everyone. The financial burden of higher education isn't for everyone. If there are laws requiring a college education, that isn't right or necessary. There are many young folks that could be successful without college and learn on the go, so to speak. The scam I talk about is the brain washing that to be successful, you need a college education. The financial scam is the banksters that provides the funding .. . . .

Change one critical piece of higher education funding - allow bankruptcy to wipe out higher education debt and the playing field would be much closer to level . .  . . .  . (and to be clear, I"m not advocating bankruptcy)

No truer words have ever been spoken.

In my area, nw oregon, Mike Rowe's prediction of trade jobs and hand labor will become equal to or perhaps even in more demand and higher paid than those of degree holders has been coming reality.

But as Billy I think is getting at, doctors, accountants, and those sort of careers, do in fact require, and IMO, rightfully so, a college education. It's just too bad the quality of education today is so poor, one does not get that elusive..................R.O.I.
