Subject: RE: college as an investment

frederick, MD
I know a person who had a degree from a major reputable university. This person , 6 years after graduation, is earning 10 dollars an hour working retail. This persons parents spent over 50k on college. They run there mouth all the time about how important it is to pay for your children's college. And how awful others are for not sending there kids to college.

This person has applied for over 100 jobs. If I had paid for this kids education I would be pretty upset about my return on investment. Basically the student and the parents got ripped off.

I know another person who graduate from the same university. This person is not very smart. Not nearly as smart as the first person. This second person graduated with a general studies degree because they couldn't get the business degree they wanted. Couldn't do the work. This person is making nearly 50k a year now as a middle manager in a retail business. He works his but off. Running around like crazy.
