That reminds me of a small machinery auction we had 20 years ago. We had aAC D17 listed and a guy called the auctioneer from Pennsylvania and must have wanted it bad. He told the auctioneer that he would go to $3700. That's exactly what he got it for. I think the real bidders dropped out @ $3300.
