You are better off lowballing a bid and watch the auction and bid on increments other than putting in your max that you would pay bid. Your example of putting in a $55000 max was going to get hit even if it was a $65000 max. I have found that many auctions always go to your max bid. Yes it is fishy, auction companies can see your max so don't use your max bid as they will raise it to meet your max. | |
