Subject: RE: Auction time gripe

I have bid on one item and watch several other items. One that I watched was an orchard sprayer that had previously been for sale on tractor house for $7400. So I thought I would bid till around $5000 thinking it was for sale for several months without selling. When I got the text alert with 2 hours to go it was at $6500 and climbing. It sold for $7600. Well look at that just a touch more than advertised. I get the feeling items are being bid on to get the price they want. The item I did bid on was an IH 1420 combine. I stopped bidding and it sold. Three days later I passed one on I40 going east here in NC. That had to be it.
