I try to clean up and look decent when I go somewhere public.



Decent doesn't have to mean suit and tie but it probably means that you at least own a pair of dress pants and a dress shirt so you don't show up at a funeral or wedding wearing jeans and a t shirt.

For the record I hate wearing a tie, the suit I'm fine with but I hate the tie.
