| Chip maker posts what their product will change and how much power is added. And also warns that the product can cause failures to stock manufactured products. Then most also post that the owner is liable for any breakage by added increased power over stock.
Remember adding a chip doesn't break anything, pushing the throttle under extreme conditions does. The aftermarket world can not predict how the owner of the vehicle will operate it. But yes they do and should warn what their product adds to the vehicle. Owner is ultimately responsible for any and all changes they choose to make to their trucks or tractors.
