N W Ohio | I have been using a dozer now for 2 years and finally bought an older pta 325 Steiger to do the job. We have a d7f hooked with a Johnson pull type 6' plow. Worked ok but really slow driving back to the next start. Also was a pain to move being 12' wide. Not enough hyd either, we had remotes t'd into the tilt circuit and strapped the level over to run it but often had trouble with not enough pressure. Would definitely recommend a Steiger with the auto Trans, I think it goes as slow as the dozer in low gear. | |
