East Central Ia | A tractor will be much easier to move around from farm to farm, do less damage maneuvering around in the field, and much faster surveying, pre ripping, and jockeying around in the field as well.
That being said...
Which would you have more use for outside of plowing tile? Do you have a lot of use for a dozer, preferably hired work for others to generate extra income?
I would think an extra tractor would be much more useful. But a dozer is handy also... I just don't see having enough use for a dozer to justify unless you plan to do hired work with it.
Having to haul it on a low boy everywhere would be a major drawback for me.
Keep in mind the size dozer it will require as you still need the weight. | |
