SW Minnesota | A couple of things with mounting a loader on that tractor. If it does not already have them, you will need the side frames for the tractor. These are 3/8" to 1/2" thick steel plates with numerous square holes punched in them for mounting implements (including loaders) on the sides of the tractor. They would be mounted on the sides of the tractor from the clutch housing forward to the front casting of the tractor. And yes, these were optional when the tractor was new!
Also, whatever loader you get, it needs to have they type of mounting frame that has a "leg" on each side that goes back from where the mast of the loader mounts on the tractor to the rear axle of the tractor. If you can, go look at other similar tractors in the area, especially ones that were purchased new "back in the day" with the loader attached. These should be set up the way I described.
Otherwise you will break the tractor in half...... | |
