Texas | The people are different because the divorce and their problems. I bet one of them wants to sell it and the other doesn't. Probably a nasty divorce with a lot of fighting and disagreement over assets. It sounds harsh but you are probably not even on their radar of things to be concerned about with all that is going on in their lives.
Offer to buy the property at a steep discount. If you can't afford it then just move on. I guess you could continue using it until it sells since that is the standing agreement but I wouldn't be putting much effort into the upkeep.
I know you feel cheated because you put in more effort than you got benefits in return but this outcome is not what they had planned either. At least you got some use out of it. | |
