Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | The exporters are beginning to whine less and less about inlines. Couple of years ago one of my customers hired a guy with Freemans to bale a bunch of hay he wanted to send to export. When they looked at it, they bought the stuff he had baled with his Hesston inlines instead. That was the last time he hired that out. Exporter from your area as well. Another exporter from down south runs hesston inlines to bale his own hay for the press.
3 tie bales here still give us a lot of options. CA dairies take 3 tie, they might prefer 3x4's, but heavy 3 tie are fine. CA and Oregon feedstores all like 3 tie bales so long as they don't weigh much over 100-110lbs. And the export guys still love 3 tie. For someone who wants to have any options other than dairies, 3 tie is still a good option. It is just finding enough people to run the damn things.... | |
