Janesville Ca, 96114 | Freemans are just plain tough and simple. They are built so well you probably only buy one new in your life time, if you are a owner operator. Makes it hard to stay in business that way if you are building in limited market to begin with. I run 2 Freeman balers and they just amaze me how well they run year after year. I don't plan on replacing them unless something really spectacular comes out.
I am like you John Deere treats hay in the West like a red-headed step child. You would think they would tap into the market somehow with something other than a windrower.
A pic of that 3 twine Deere would be neat to see. I heard a outfit in Klamath Falls was going to try to convert a New Holland 2 twine to 3 twine since CNH left the 3 twine business. What a deal that would have been buy a BB900 for good money and then have CNH tell product is discontinued. But we have parts for 10 years.
Speaking if obsolesence I hear that MacDon no longer builds parts for their 9000 series tractors and headers. Quite few of them this way cutting hay. | |
