Subject: RE: Boerson farms and stamp farms

20 miles west of Indianapolis Indiana
I've often wondered how much large scale production Ag (the rape and pillage type) will gravely affect farmlands ability to produce quality&quantity crops in 50 years?

O.M. levels are largely lower now then 50 years ago cause of plowing and erosion.
What will P/K/Ca O.M. levels look like in 50 years on some of this countries best soils if always rented to the highest bidder and quickest buck today?

I ALWAYS try to stay as competitive as I can and good to my landlords, but sometimes its tmcomplete insanity what some folks bid/promise and LL.
