There are enough examples in California of water being piped away to distant cities and small towns left to dry up, literally. Any pipeline of water from anywhere in the Northwest would be the start of that process, here. If Oregon and Washington think they have water to spare to ship south, then we ought to just increase our own irrigated agriculture. | |
