South Western Ontario, Canada
Some of you guys Crack me up.......this has NOTHING to do with safety! It's because you have been inconvenienced. You either having to slow down or stop for a few seconds.

Most of you have NEVER even driven a semi and have no clue what, where and how they should be parked!

They are rightfully called HIGHWAY trucks for a reason! Going off road in a semi is not the most enjoyable thing to do and lots of times you end up stuck. In your OWN FIELDS that you know where they are soft is one thing NOW compared to a contractor (be it a coop, drainage guy or whomever it is) DOESN'T KNOW and doesn't want to damage their equipment!

Sounds like no one has ever had a wet fall and had to load trucks on the road before......if you have did you complain about the traffic?

Think of it this way, would you like to be held up for few minutes or being held up for half hour plus while they call a wrecker in and winch the stuck truck back onto firm ground?
