St Peter MN | I agree tecumseh, you can fine tune it so much better. I did not move the air gauges, i just adjust accordingly to how well it's planting on the monitor. My C3000 worked good for swath and overall planter control, but I spent half of the spring last year with an Agco rep out here trying to help me get it to do variable rate, and worst of all it couldn't make a map that showed the hybrids I was planting in each field. In this day of technology, having a monitor that can't even paint a separate color when you switch varieties is ridiculous. The rep finally just told me about halfway through that it wasn't going to work, and they were going to have big updates to them for 2015 season. Not that it mattered because I switched it out, but no one has called yet to say there is an update, so I assume it's the same old story. I couldn't believe how disappointing that monitor was. | |
