| I am very glad that I had the opportunity to meet Ed at the National Notill Conference in Cincinnati in 2011. While at the conference, I learned of the funeral for a close friend... I mentioned this to Ed and he shared some very kind and encouraging words.
I am also grateful that Ed was always willing to be interviewed by my students and participated in many interview projects.
Ed's commitment to stewardship and outreach was a great example to us all.
