Subject: RE: Train horns for trucks

Northeast Louisiana
I have a set, they are loud. It's plumbed into my air tank. I have an electric switch to open the air. If you want a nicer sound, most guys I know run a air line into cab and put a ball valve inline. I also have seen actual train horn mounted on trucks that came off trains. Mine came from a truck chrome shop. Paid around $300 for mine about 12 years ago.
