If you install 2 of the (I've always called them flow-checks) valves like the Parker posted above, in series but facing opposite directions you can use them to set different flow restriction for each direction.
Valve A will have flow thru the needle valve and valve B will free-flow thru the check, with flow in the other direction A will free-flow and B will restrict.
Does such a hyd fitting exist for planter markers
